Disgustingly...Dumb.

This model "boasts" a size 44J. Which, in my opinion, is disgusting, and makes me think of anime cartoons, and the freakishly large-breasted women with boobs the size of their own bodies. Its disgusting.

But this is where this woman gets dumb and ridiculous.

She was on a plane.

And now she's sueing them.

Cuz her boobs.

wouldn't fit.

Ridiculous right? She wants to sue the company because her boobs wouldn't fit between the seat and the seat in front of her and they suffered during turbulence.

Meet Bandit:

This is our mischievious little kitty, Bandit. He gets himself into trouble all the time. In fact, I just spent the afternoon steam cleaning the couch he peed all over. He's such a pretty boy, he hates being outside (though he's stuck there now after all the trouble he's put us through :P) so our female cat, Bella, who I refuse to write about cuz she and I don't get along, she takes care of him because he's pathetic...but such a lover! He's so sweet and adorable and you can't stay mad at that cute lil face :3

I found him today in the oat grass:

My mother and I have been wondering why it was laying so flat and smushed...now we know...

XD Of course, after a little browsing Google I discovered that oat grass is very sweet, and cats love to eat it :D so I think we've got a winner!

It's an awfully long process getting all the pictures up i think...but I want to start featuring some of my own outfits here, rathering than just referring you to my chictopia...

MY QWEST!!!!

I've been trying to find the perfect one for a decent price in XL for ages! It's impossible! These things are so gorgeous, a perfect summer staple, couldn't you imagine them a thousand different ways?

-with military style accents, boots, backpack

-in sweet little oxfords, with a bowler hat

-or with wedges, and a straw hat!

Unfortunately, i've become rather picky about the style I want...a mini, with a large, bold, cream or white lace, with no brown lining or anything, with 3/4 sleeves. I've tryed on similar dress styles, and that's what looks best on me. And when I make up my mind on that stuff, i won't settle for less. My mother gets angry when I'm picky, but why spend money on something you're not near as happy with as you could be?

Perfumes!

As every lady knows, perfume is very important! Sure, you may smell perfectly acceptable as you are, but a scent adds that extra little OOMPH! Obviously there are some rules to that...

I was spurred on to writing this little bit at work last night. This event inspired me with my number one rule:

DO NOT PUT SO MUCH GODDAMN PERFUME ON THAT I CAN SMELL YOU A MILE AWAY!

I wish there was a nicer way to say that, but there isn't. Here I am, all the way in the back of the kitchen, coming out of the freezer, when all of a sudden my nostrils are viciously assaulted by this intense, cheap, shampoo-perfume smell belonging to a woman ALL THE WAY AT THE FRONT OF THE RESTAURANT. The smell of her filled every inch of everything, and what's worse was that it was actually disturbing the meals of other customers around her as they wrapped their shirts and things over their faces to shield themselves!

So now that you get that being offensive isn't good, moving on :D

2. Pick your scent to match your surroundings. If you're going to school, choose something gentle, maybe a body spray from bath and body works, or Cherie by Miss Dior. If youre going to a party, pick something fun, lively and young! And if you're going to be around a mostly mature crowd, go for a mature scent. I prefer Parisienne by YSL for these situations:

3. You don't have to have a signature scent, but be selective about your choices.

Think, people will associate you with whatever scent you choose.

For instance, i wear Juicy Couture the most, and always when i'm with my boyfriend. Scent is one of the first and foremost, not to mention important things your significant other will pick up on. If they consistently smell one scent on you, every other time they smell it, they'll instantly think of you and all the feelings you aroused ;) And like I said before, I use Juicy Couture, which I have proven to be the ultimate guy-attracting scent. Every single man i've been with loved it to death:

4. YES, I thoroughly encourage matching your perfume to your outfit! I've got lighter, airier, more feminine scents for such outfits, and when i decide to go a little punk, I spritz on something mustier and hotter.

5. Keep in tune with the season. Pretty, soft, floral scents are great for summer, but keep the heavier stuff for winter!

6. Pay attention to how a fragrance reacts and smells ON YOU. Not just on the bottle or sample. Rub a little around on your wrists, the nook of your elbow or knee, or your neck. It can react with the oils of your body and your own personal chemicals, then you can take a whiff and be sure it REALLY smells THAT GOOD on you! :)

7. My mantra...be yourself! Don't choose a scent just cuz its popular, choose ones that you like! It doesn't have to be a fancy brand either. Though I may have mentioned some of the more expensive ones in here, I've got plenty of others that I picked up at walmart or wherever, simply because I really liked it, and it worked well with me!

Now that they've got the kinks worked out, everything just WORKS for them as a band. They've got great chemistry!

I've mentioned this before in my blog, but since i've be invited to blog more about them, I'd really like to elaborate!

Beezag is an invite-only service wherein you watch ads and earn money, about $.08-$.10 per ad! It sounds small right now, but it ads up quick, and you can easily have that money sent either to your paypal or to a charity of your choice! Not to mention, you get great offers from all your favorite brands, and over time, as you answer questions, the offers become more and more personalized to you!

Now, usually you have to wait on a two-month or so wait list if you don't have an invite pin, but I would be more than happy to let you use mine: SIERRA

Beezag is really great, and I have a lot of fun with it. I recently recieved my bracelets to give to family and friends, and they love it and can't wait to get started!

I also recieved a tee from them, which i'm probably going to spice up with boyfriend jeans and a blazer and show off at school, and a super hot pair of green aviator sunglasses that look amazing on me!

Columbus Trip: Cosi, Zoo!

Cosi, and Columbus Zoo!

I feel awkward just now posting this, even though it was around about two weeks ago that I went haha. It was a big girls-only trip with my mother, little sister, Aunt Karrin, and two cousins. Peyton, the youngest of the two, is absolutely darling! My aunt adopted her from China, and boy is she just a pill! She had a cleft pallette, but despite her inability to pronounce things right, she's got the most colorful vocabulary! My mother asked her if she liked spicy food, and she said, "I think not!" Keep in mind, she's three!

I really wish I hadn't forgot my camera for cosi, but luckily I remembered to bring it to the zoo! I was really inspired by the apes and bonobos. Seeing the interactions between the great apes is amazing, they really are so humanoid. It kills me in my heart to know that their homes are being killed, and their families, butchered for meat. More people need to realize that these gorgeous creatures, our cousins, are disappearing. At cosi, we watched a movie about Jane Austen. One clip really got me- She was discussing the discovery of chimps fashioning tools out of sticks to collect ants and eat them. The most remarkable thing about this was that, at that time, the only thing in the dictionary separating humans and chimps was the fact that humans could use tools. Now that it was found that chimps DID in fact use tools, what difference would be made? It seemed that the only thing to do would be to give an ape human rights.

My aunt is currently working on a rescue habitat for chimps saved from animal testing facilities. It's amazing, really, seeing it in construction...

Our dogs are an adorable little couple. Our newfoundland Wyatt is larger than me, and has taken to caring for mazy, our lil fluffy weiner dog puppy. She's so sweet and he knows just how to take care of her. She has a little rope and he has a big one, and she cant get a good enough hold on his, so he gets a hold of hers in the tip of his teeth, and teases her, then waits for her to get a good hold on it, tugs her around, then lets her go, then she runs around the couch, lets him take it off her, and the cycle repeats. Its so sweet how he could throw her all over and kill her, but He's so gentle and loving...he just got tired and layed down and she curled up in his tummy...

Conformity

Doesn't REALLY exist!

We were discussing this in english class, and it's a topic that is continually reocurring everywhere. I've noticed it on chictopia, in school, and just listening in on conversations around me in public.

Basically, i've reached one conclusion from all the opinions i've gathered...

Conformity is a cycle.

To conform is a terrible thing, so we become nonconformist. But in our nonconformity, we're all conforming to each other's nonconformity.

Look at the goths, to use stereotypes, which i don't typically believe in, but i'm just making a point. These are people who all fight to be different, but in reality, they're all the same, and they're all conforming to their idea of breaking the system.

I believe true nonconformity comes from conforming to everything. In short, being who you want to be.

In the song Admit it!!! by Say Anything, the singer addresses this. It's hard to explain in my own words, so here is the youtube:

And why don't we reference the ultimate nonconformist who conformed, Ralph Waldo Emerson. Conformity is the enemy of originality. However, to completely reject conformity is not only impossible, it ruins your human experience. He contradicts himself, and even addressed it once. He said that one must live fully, and express himself. He said that to be great is to be misunderstood. In this he meant, one day, think one thing, but then, when you have some sort of epiphany that evening, the next day, feel free to contradict yourself, even though people will misunderstand you, because you need to live freely and speak everything you believe, loud and clear. You need to be yourself. Let others catch up to you.

Sometimes when i wake up, i feel like courtne love. Ive got makeup down my face, my hair is a piecey greasy mess, yet still sexy, and i have the faintest feeling that my boyfriend is still a total druggie. This probably isn't a great way to start my morning, but as soon as i hop in the shower, i feel relatively sane. :)

New Weight Loss Ideas!

I'm NOT Gonna Get Skinny!

No, at this point, i'm tired of being focused on being "skinny." People are always talking about how girls need "bodypeace" and need to be comfortable in their own skin, then shove all these weight loss ideas in their face and tell them they need to be skinny. Its even in Seventeen magazine.

You see, what we girls need to do is BE HEALTHY. Not skinny, not super pretty, but healthy. If you're struggling to keep your weight DOWN, you're not healthy. I obviously feel the need to lose about fifteen pounds or so. I want to be down to about a size twelve, because I've adopted this philosophy:

1. If you're limiting everything you eat, you're killing happiness, because you're constantly concious of every little thing that goes into your body, and you're not letting yourself be free to have a healthy relationship with food.

2. Everyone has a set point, where they'll be happy and healthy all their life if they follow it

3. just because you're 180 pounds doesn't mean youre obese or fat. you could naturally be thicker, or have a lot of muscle on you. pay little attention to that scale.

Lately, i've been thinking back on a book i read some time ago...Hungry by Crystal Renn:

She will be an inspiration my whole life through.

So i've decided to do this:

1. Eat in moderation. I want to enjoy all the foods i like, i just wont be eating them in all these large proportions that don't fit in my tummy just because they taste good

2. only eat when i'm hungry. i want to train my brain to know that if i need food, i'm going to get it. i want food to make me happy and nourish me, but i don't want it to be a crutch for depression or boredom. that's where art will come in in my life

3. no more soda. i want to try and start to eat organic, so that i know what is going into my body is meant to be in there.

4. i'm going to focus more of my stress and needs into this blog and into my artwork. i want to be successful, and i'm going to utilize everything i can to reach that goal.

I hope i've helped to inspire some of you, and maybe even show you a better way to feel better :)

Her Name Is Really Sarah, But We'll Call Her Chica

She's so much fun, and really reflects that in her style, and she's an inspiration for me every day :) So I thought I'd feature her as my first High School Style Profile!

Chic is a junior like myself, and has a fun, eclectic, and predominatly punky style. In my opinion, she's the ultimate risk taker.

Her personal uniform tends to be one of her brother's various henlys, her usual pair of converse or vintage pastel sneakers, and brightly colored jeans! But she mixes it up with fun things like mustard sweater vests, argyle sock, pegged pants, and unique layering.

She has her days or sweat pants and hoodies, but for the most part, she has fun being herself, and I find it amazing that for the most part, she really doesn't put much thought at all into her crazy concoctions!

I will be posting more outfits of hers soon, as well as a few of my own!

I Hate When Plays End

It sorta leaves me with this hollow feeling...even though I looked like this this morning:

Attractive, right? Seven forty five and I was told I had to go "natural" so as to make my Jew costume look more believable. Bleh. I just was feeling sad that it ended so I thought i'd post some pictures to here to show it off. Wish I could have got some shots of the show and of jesus and things...it was really inspiring and the experience really brought me to my faith like never before!

Wow. Im in spanish and we were talking about the verb colgar which means to hang and senora gave us the example of hanging decoration then skibs asked senora if you used the same verb for hanging people like gallows and she said yeah then cody asked if dead bodies were decorations. Lolz.

Doesn't she look gorgeous? I brought this up on the Chictopia forums not too long ago, and the overall response was that noone wants to show their tummy! I completely understand that. In fact, when I think of a crop top, the photo you see above is what I think of. It took me a while to even find a picture of one that looked acceptable to me where the midriff is shown:

I think this looks cute. But I got a lot of feedback that told me that people were confused on how to wear them, and whether they would feel comfortable. So I decided to whip up a few guidelines:

1. If you're showing your belly, wear pants that fit well. And they should be pants. Shorts will just make it look trashy.

2. Otherwise, feel free to to wear whatever you please, but make sure it's high waisted. that's gonna get you the coverage you want

3. ONCE AGAAAAIN make it your style lolz these things can be glam, rock, or casual.

4. wear the right bra.

5. don't be afraid. like everything, you need to wear this with confidence. Keep your chip up, shoulders back.

Sorry to say i told you so but....

With that said, if your crop top is lower and you only show the tiniest bit of midriff, this is fine when you have the right body...

Otherwise, stick with everything hitting the middle of the waist.

Isn't It Beautiful?!

I was soooooo excited to find these growing in little bunches all over the front garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have no idea...i've lived with five feet of snow for two months now and within this past week, its all gone! Its been fifty and sixty and sunny and spring spring spring! There are some other things popping up too...

Poached Egg Time!!! Yaaay!

You have no idea, I'm so excited about this...

So we were talking about this in spanish class the other day....we really wanted to know how to make a poached egg...and senora told me she thought it was like an egg... boiled without a shell...and she elaborated a little bit and I worked it out! So basically...here's my proccess for anyone who wants to learn....

I only wish mine looked this good...

Basically, I started out with a container about this big, and I put my egg in it. (Sorry, I took all these photos after I was done cooking it...so yeah...) I've found that you want to find something with a flat even bottom, or you'll end up with an egg that's thick in one area with the yolk and the rest is just this thin sheet...

And then just stick it in the pot, and fill it with just a little bit of water, so the container just barely touches the bottom...It doesn't really matter exactly how much you use, just get some in there :)

Now, you cover it (duh) lolz

And boil the water at about medium high heat...here's my stove dial, if you want a bit of reference:

Now, i know this isn't an ACTUAL poached egg, but I'm super lazy, so I decided to just steam it sorta lol. But basically, when its white all over, you've got what you want.

While my egg was cooking, I popped a piece of toast in the toaster...toast it to your pleasure, i like my lightly golden.

Then I pulled my egg out, and dusted it with a bit of salt n pepper

And I pulled it out and stuck it on my toast! Tada!

Its a lot more flavorful than a hardboiled egg, and not nearly as messy as scrambled eggs, and its great to go! :D This may be my new favorite food...

Fitting For Any Style!

For the longest time, combat boots have had both a good and bad rep. Some people don't like the tough look, and think these boots belong on the battlefield. They've had their time in the spotlight for all sorts of groups...the punks, the goths, the grunge, etc, and they remain a staple for many people. But lately they've been hugely popular in the mainstream fashion scene, lead by the major combat boot manufacturer, Doctor Martens. I personally am a big fan of Docs, and I'm totally thrilled to check and see what new designs they've got all the time...I would definitely collect them if I could afford it.

Combat boots come in variety of styles, like these Victorian style ones and the classic style ones, but in patent leather...

Don't be afraid to wear them with everything...literally everything. Dresses, skirts, winter, summer, spring fall, jeans, shorts, all of it. Combat boots go. They dress down a lot of things, and look great on their own, or with tons of layers of socks and whatnot. Basic guidelines...

-pick a color that is recurring in your closet, so you really can wear them with everything

-splurge on a basic, super comfy pair first, then branch out and have fun

-don't be afraid to get girly with it

-accessorize your boots! add charms or lace them funny

-you don't have to wear them laced all the way up, pulled tight. You're not ACTUALLY going out for combat, so feel free to let them flop around and look messy...its how I do it :)

-You can buy cheap pairs at Wal Mart for like...$12...but srsly, Docs cost $119 and their worth every penny. If you can't directly afford a pair, but you want some, go for the walmart ones, but save up for those Docs...you'll be happy you did!

I'm talking about Japanese Elegant Gothic Lolita, or EGL, the street style. Full of frill and dolly-like elegance, this is one of my favorite styles. Unfortunately, it's a little expensive for me to dress it as I would like to.

Lolita can come in any number of styles like:

Sweet

Classic

Gothic

(that's Mana-sama ^.^)

Or even more specific styles like:

Country

Or Pirate

it's a sort of mixture between punk lolita and 1700's gentleman

Every loli has her own style, and take on lolita. Some are lifestyle lolitas, having tea parties, dressing all the time, and living a ladylike life to fit their clothing.

To the lolita community, everyone is a princess, and deserves to be treated like such. It's rare that you find a loli who isn't warm, welcoming, fun-loving, and happy to bring you into the community and help you on your journey.

Every loli craves and desires "burando" or brand, a.k.a. the fancy stuff. They're high-quality, much better looking, and super-pricey. This good stuff includes Metamorphose Temps De Fille, Angelic Pretty, and Baby The Stars Shine Bright. Of course, there are hundreds of other brands, too.

But this odd little fashion style has snuck into one of America's now top Designers, Jason Wu! I love his spring 2009 collection!

This mash-up of girly details and feminine colors was, of course, inspired by sweet lolit and other japanese street fashions! That goes to show that being wordly is being tops :)

DIY Blue Satin Safety Pin Bow

The Perfect Mix of Sweet and Punk

I'm not so sure why it looks so bright blue in the picture, technically its more of a navy...So this was really easy for me. Basically, I had this huge loop with a rubber band connecting that had come off the present wrapping from a robe I got for Christmas. But it was this gorgeous blue, and was perfect material for headband and I couldn't bear to let it go. So finally, the inspiration struck me as I was setting up my new vanity, that I could fold it into a sort of bow and secure it with safety pins! At first I had the intention of covering up the single safety pin I had, but I loved the sweet-but-edgy look so much that I just decided to put a bunch more!

Basically, I just sized it to my head, folded down the excess into my bow, and strategically placed my safety pins in a strategically messy way! ;)

Although my hair looks terrible in the picture...I had it all curled up nice, and by the time I had the chance to snap and quick shot, it had all fallen flat :(

DIY French Manicure

I Did It All By Myself, Julia!

Julia is the woman who does my hair and nails :)

Materials:

-clippers

-file

-cuticle stick

-Sally Hansen Hard As Nails in Sheer Vanilla

-clear coat

-Sally Hansen nail pen in white

-Conair nail dryer

I started with a clear base coat, then added just one coat of the Sheer Vanilla. Of course, you don't HAVE to use that color, I used it because I have a very light skin tone. Basically, you just want to pick a shade that's slightly milkier than your own skin tone. I used to nail dryer to get that COMPLETELY DRY. If it's not hard to crisp, it'll get messed up when you use the pen. And I know, I know, I've been told a million times not to use little dryers or to blow on nails cuz it will cause bubbles, but I have yet to have a serious problem, so moving on.

After I had my main color down, I carefully colored in my tips with the white. The stuff I have is chalky-looking and wipes away with water, so it's a really easy fix if you mess up, I love it. Unfortunately, you have to be careful with the pen the first several times you use it, cuz it can and will squirt in puddles! But aside from that, it's terribly convenient.

You only need to let the white dry for a minute or two, then just swipe over it with a quick clear topcoat. Be careful how you choose, though. I've noticed that sometimes after given time to dry, some topcoats will put little crackles in the white while others won't. You just have to experiment, really.

And there you go! It's appropriate for work, play, everything! And you can do it with almost any colors you want, really, if you're looking to have a little fun!

From 15 to 50, Dress For Who You Are

This isn't really about me telling you HOW to dress, so much as WHEN to dress like it. Obviously I'm against thirty year old women dressing as teenagers, but that's not the point right now. I want to focus on the younger crowd. Seeing as I myself am a teenager, I can relate. lol. So have you ever been sitting at home, watching What Not To Wear, and you're totally confused because you sometimes find yourself thinking...'Well gee...i might actually wear that...I think it's cute!' Thats just the thing. Stacy and Clinton are talking to older women. We as teenagers don't have to follow their rules as strictly. What I've realized is, we should stop worrying about dressing appropriate or mature, and just go wild! We're young and unlike the women in InStyle, we don't need to find exactly what works for us just yet and wear it all the time! We're supposed to experiment with and try all those fun outfits in seventeen! Then as we grow up we can settle out, wear what works best, always, like Reese Witherspoon, and then we'll age and we'll dress "age-appropriate."

It's hard to imagine that not too long ago, I was posting about his prominence and genius, and now I write about his alleged suicide. Obviously there has yet to be an official cause of death released, but his mother also died not long ago, and, as is to be expected, he took it hard. It's a huge loss to the world, whether it be fashion or otherwise, and it's extremely difficult for me to accept... I can only imagine how this will affect New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week. I feel really selfish, just talking about our loss of his clothing....he really was so much more than just what we saw on the runway.

Here's my take. I'm not huge on looking gaudy, so I tried to tone it down a lot. I also prefer the unconventional sequins...I probably wouldn't have bought this skirt if it weren't for the fact that the sequins were scalloped, like fish scales:

They can be hardcore or cute or quirky! You just have to know what you want, and once again, make it your own! Here are some quick guidelines:

-Sequins are bold, so keep the rest of your outfit relatively basic, otherwise you'll have a battle for dominance in your outfit.

-Don't overload. If you're wearing a sequin dress, its all the sparkle you'll need.

-Be modest. What you're wearing is already sexy and flashy enough, so don't go baring all on top of it. You'll look slutty.

-Don't be afraid. If you don't like to dress quite so out-there, but want to get in on the trend, you can try something simple, like a t-shirt with sequin trim, or a hat or scarf.

Think about it, all the things you can't wear because it's too short to wear without leggings, and too hot outside to wear them? So a legging-style short! But thats just my own input. Leggings

Leggings are a fashion staple. Comfy and easy to wear if you know what youre doing, they can make any outfit. There are some guidelines, though. Break them and you could end up looking really tacky.

-First and foremost...LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS! No matter how fabulous the rest of your outfit is, showing off the innermost parts of your bottom is not hot.

-Second, make sure they are a good material. If they're scratchy or cheap, they won't be comfortable, or they'll fall apart.

-Third, tights do not always equal leggings. Notice how you can see the tag and everything? NONO Make sure what you are wearing is thicker. Opaque tights MAY work, but be careful.

-Fourth, leggings can be worn with a variety of things, from dresses, to tunics to skirts. They can be girly, plaid, punk, or whatever you want them to be.

Basically, just remember to keep you bottom and your crotch covered, and make it your own style!

Vibram FiveFingers, The Barefoot Shoe

OK, this shoe...is AWESOME. I found out about them from my friend James, who had worn his around school to break them in for a rock-climbing expedition he is going on next weekend. They're designed to fit to the natural curve of the foot to give a barefoot experience, with a thin but strong sole that has great grip, and a comfy, breathable material that moves with the foot. He let me try them on, since he has relatively small feet for a guy, and even though they were still slightly large on me, they were amazing! The feeling is almost undescribable! I showed this to my dad, and he was really excited about it. If you're into outdoor sports, I would definitely recommend giving these things a shot.

I only wish I could have gotten a better shot of the picture itself...the face looks smooshed now, and a lot of the detail has disappeared....I'll manage to get a better one soon :( But I've been so inspired by all this...I'm hopeful to start a series of drawings and ink and watercolor paintings with muted pinks and creams and baby blue...kind of vintagey....the image in my head is so beautiful right now...I wish you could see the expression I captured on her face too...she looks empowered, passionate, as if she's in this hightened state of concentration and bliss....I can't wait to get a better picture up...

She is, by far, my favorite figure skater at the moment. Just take some time to look at that picture...she's beautiful, and passionatly in the moment. It takes strength, agility, and grace to even get that pose up and running, let alone hold it the way she, and any other figure skater, does. I'm thinking about doing next years senior portfolio entirely of drawings of skaters and other people in acrobatic poses. The movement is simply awe-inspiring.

Oh man...my step sister frustrates me indefinitely.... I see this happen all the time but Lauren dearest should know! I was in love with her outfit this morning, a colorblock skirt with a tee shirt tucked in and a cropped sweater over it. She curled her hair, she looked adorable. She also left the house before me, so i never got to see her choice in footwear. Now im in lunch and i see :( her beautiful outfit has been ruined by these ugg like, furry heeled things. I detest those things. They're beyond uggly! You see ten thousand Hollister clones prancing around the mall with their tasteless overly tight tee shirts and plaid bombers and jeans tucked into uggs mindlessly prattling about the next shade of blonde they can destroy their hair with. Its sickening. Idk if clone girls in other areas are like this, but i know that whatever they look like, i probably will be annoyed with the look after i see it two hundred times... Pretty Agreeable Country

That's saying a lot for me. I'm more for rock and the like, and it's rare for me to like a country song, let alone an artist all over. But this woman's voice is angelic, it's so beautiful. It's soft and airy, but powerful at the same time. My dad introduced me to her a couple days ago, and since then I've fallen entirely in love. My favorite song at the moment is definitely "Stay." Her music is very impactful, and I can relate to a lot of it, even though I'm young. My dad says she doesn't tour, she only plays the the Opry, which I think is remarkable, since she's quite successful. Either way, I think anyone could listen to her and love it, so long as they had an appreciation of good, passionate music. She's country, she's soft, she's pop, she's whatever you want her to be really, because he voice is just that entrancing. And to top it off, she's beautiful!

Lol...i just thought i'd say that my school is pathetic, and my peers truly disappoint me...im amazed at how much they complain, but don't take action against things that upset them...they have no grasp of reality, and so they whine. But then they sit around a flunk classes and mouth off to teachers and expect things to just go their way! Don't get me wrong, im not some goody-two-shoes teachers pet. Im just annoyed. Period. I detest people who have no motivation in life, but still bitch. I could care less if you lack motivation and dont bitch, or bitch but do something about it. But that mixture...ugh.

This is definitely a work of genius in both the category of design and the category of architecture. Architect Julian Hakes designed this shoe on his own foot, using paper, tape, and a scalpel one evening while contemplating one thing: Why do high heels need a foot plate, when all the weight goes to the ball and heel? This creation resulted. It's really gorgeous and I would love to see it walk down a runway. I'm not sure exactly how practical it would be for everyday life though....

god only knows what could be lurking beneath that nonexistent foot plate...

Humor aside though, Hakes did a really great job, and as far as I hear, is collaborating with some Italian shoemakers to get this thing out on the market. You can catch updates on his twitter, just find julianhakes. Maybe in the future, where poo isn't wont to be under feet, this could be considered an everyday sandal?

I ADORE everything this man does. He is The Shoe Genius, in my eyes. While Louboutin creates the everyday, Mcqueen innovates, WOWS US! And what's best? The wonderful Lady GaGa seems to be quite a fan...

Within all these beautiful shoes, I can say that I definitely see a lot more than just creativity. There's real thought in these designs. He's turned the strangest shape into one damn fine piece of footwear! I challenge anyone to think about the foot inside this shoe and reconstruct one with equal finesse. I'm sure that, even if you can figure it all out in your mind, you couldn't figure out how to push it to that next step the way Mcqueen does. I strive to interpret the world the way he does. I only wish I could see it through his eyes. The thought of it is humbling.
